I'm taking advantage of my new, shiny unemployed status to work on art that I owe people. This is Bold and Whisper (from the Animals of Farthing Wood) at the request of the very kind Du-Lac . She drew a very lovely entry for my contest in return. As far as I can remember, Bold and Whisper met in the city somewhere, but as far as this picture is concerned they met in a poorly drawn field.

Du-Lac has been having a rough time with life recently, and I hope this helps at least temporarily brighten her day. You could always stop by her page and drop her a kind word or two though if you have the time. :)

And before you ask, that is a scar over Bold's left eye.

Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive music!

I don't know what you mean by poorly drawn, the background is amazing! I love the attention to the ground, it's very good and realistic! The characters are wonderful! I adore the way you draw paws... they're just so... cute =3

You actually did a great art on the field and Bold himself though Whisper's head and the neck looks a bit off though...

You got series two of farthing wood in the US? Great picture btw, you drew them better than they looked in the series...

No problem. ;) I was freaking obsessed and read the books and magazines, watched the show, and had the figurines. XD I never got hooked on an animal series except for that one.
