Between "Cheap: The high cost of discount culture" and an article about storage units on the rise, I think Kil may very well get rid of everything we own. But that works for me. XD Thought it was pretty inspiring, and I'm trying to match him thing for thing. Problem is, people keep giving us stuff...then making us keep it. So annoying. I'm sure others could put it to use. Like...people who don't have anything.

...Finches.

Apparently people fight finches. Apparently, this is something someone actually sat down, and thought of.

Apparently some of them are going to undergo socialization training at various zoos. Apparently, some of them are coming to the aviary I work at. Apparently, they were also injected with steriods and will be roughly the size of three finches.

I'm two parts disgusted, but also admittedly amused.

Sorry guys, both Kil and I have been sick for over a week now with flu-type symptoms. Been drained already from work, but working sick has me dead to the world. I'll be updating the sketches from last journal as soon as I'm back in the land of the living. I have to sit down and figure out what I owe who, and if you already signed up, but aren't done yet, we'll work something out then.

So here's the deal. There are four options below, pick any one of them to do, and get a free sketch from me, anything you'd like (but limited to a sketch of one character per person). It'll only be a quick pencil sketch, nothing fancy, but, hey, it's a free sketch. Human, robot, chair, rainbow-colored winged amoeba, I don't care. You want it, I'll do my best to draw it.

OPTIONS:

1. Enter 's contest. It's a super fun contest too! Designing medieval-ish clothing. Medieval-type clothing is so much fun to play with, so I'm really not sure why you wouldn't enter this to begin with. More info is available here: [link]

2. Pay $3.50 for some beautiful art from . That's a super cheap (SUPER CHEAP, she is ripping herself off here) commission from someone who does wonderful art.
