The music industry is not dying, its changing rapidly and many record companies are refusing, kicking and screaming. People don't want to pay high amounts for music at a CD store anymore. People want music rapid and cheap which is why Itunes and other digital music services are becoming more common. Record Companies don't want to adapt.

On top of that, these record companies cry for blood on file sharing of music (Its not piracy, its Copyright infringement). They call for it to stop when nothing can stop people doing it short of stopping high speed broadband or beheading offenders. People will file share when they are not meant to but if your services are good, most will buy.

Sorry to target you but I just had an issue with the idea that its dying. The old way is dying, the new one is being reborn.
